2023 Graduate Java Developer, Equity Derivatives and Trading

We have an exciting role in the Equity Derivative and Trading - Post Trade Technology Team in Hong Kong. We're looking for students from engineering, computer science, quantitative degree backgrounds who are completing their degree in 2023.

You will join a dynamic team that owns globally used services and work side by side with experienced front and back office developers applying agile development methodology. You will be working with the global team to design and implement technical solutions for our business users. You will also work with business stakeholders to translate business strategy into clear technical requirements and continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures. In addition, you will provide support to the business users globally.

Joining our Technology team as a developer, you will have the opportunity to work on the following areas:

• Core and Enterprise Java
• .NET framework (C#/WPF)
• RESTful JSON web services and messaging middleware
• SDLC tools (e.g. JIRA, Git, Gradle, Maven)
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot implementation
• SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Building and maintaining applications in public cloud
• Test Driven Development
• Basic knowledge of *nix scripting

Excellent verbal and written communication will be important in this role.
