Studio Cassells is looking for a highly competent 3D Visualiser/Illustrator to join our team.

We are looking for a highly competent 3D Visualiser / Illustrator to join our team.

Primarily the Visualiser will work with the design team, taking a key role in both generating and visualising concepts.

This role requires a visualiser who is enthusiastic about working flexibly across disciplines and learning new skills to meet the varied nature of our projects: The successful applicant will be working on projects in the areas of museum and permanent exhibition, temporary and thematic exhibitions, retail and commercial spaces.

We require a mix of hand illustration and sketch skills, digital paintings as well as interior 3D rendering in Rhino/V-Ray to meet the varied needs of these projects.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability for the above through past work examples and references.


  • Respond creatively and critically to a design brief and lead the development and visualisation of the design in line with client feedback and input from the Creative Director.
  • Work collaboratively within the design team
  • Communicate effectively with team members and Directors – able to clearly and frequently communicate progress, highlight potential issues before and as they arise
  • Excellent organisational skills - able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently
  • Manage your time and work efficiently to deadlines


  • Minimum 3 years industry experience
  • Proficient in CAD modelling and rendering spaces using Rhino or 3D Max + VRay
  • Strong 3D rendering skills using Rhino/AutoCAD, or alternatively VRay, 3D Max
  • Digital Sculpting or animation skills not required but are of interest
  • Excellent Photoshop skills is a must, with a good ability to both paint and illustrate using photoshop as well as the ability to retouch an image.

  • The ability to sketch by hand, illustrating and sketching ideas for communication both internally as well as to the client
  • Spoken and written English essential, additional Cantonese or Mandarin preferred
