Generation is the fastest-scaling and largest demand-driven global youth employment program by annual volume. In six years of operation, we have trained and graduated 39,000+ adults into careers across 14 countries. Our mission is to transform education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible. We have a methodology that we believe can serve hundreds of thousands—and eventually millions—of people who are unemployed, underemployed, or need to learn new skills. Our program creates real business value for employers and lasting career impact for participants. The Generation methodology demonstrates a model that is scalable and replicable, and is designed in pursuit of return-on-investment outcomes for learners and employers alike.
Generation demonstrates a model that is globally scalable and replicable, and proves value to both learners and employers. Generation recruits, trains, and places needful individuals into careers; and, once the latter are on the job, Generation measures the return on investment for both graduates and employer partners over time. For our graduates, we track personal and financial well-being; and, for our employers, we assess the performance of Generation graduates relative to their non-Generation job peers along productivity and quality outcomes, retention, and speed to promotion.
Generation Hong Kong launched as a non-profit in the name of “Generation: You Employed (HK) Limited” under Section 88 in early 2018, aiming to tackle the gap between education to employment in Hong Kong. To-date, Generation Hong Kong has graduated ~270 adults in three professions: Customer Service, Digital Marketing and Eldercare.
