Account Executive (B2B Sales - IT related)

The “Account Executive" position is a customer facing role whose goal is to develop the Hong Kong market for Synergy products and services and assist the US team in increasing customer satisfaction, retention, and research prospects.


Business Development duties

  • Identify, prospect and contact potential clients and customers through research, cold calling, warm leads, and networking events.
  • Answer potential customer’s questions, initiate follow up appointments to present latest development and offer solutions to drive company revenue
  • Act as customer’s primary contact with Synergy Fiber for both the Hong Kong market and the assigned US customer profiles.
  • Anticipate customer needs and identify any potential issues and upsell opportunities
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Work with marketing team to develop tailored marketing strategy for the Hong Kong Market
  • Responsible for marketing plan execution in the Hong Kong Market
  • Represent Synergy Fiber at networking events

 Customer Technical Support

  • Perform on-call duties on a rotation basis
  • Serve as backup to the service desk to answer customer support calls, open tickets and troubleshoot for customers when needed

Key Performance Indicators/Job Requirements Primary Skills:

  • Good team player but able to work independently with minimum supervision, proactive and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365 such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in sales and customer relationship management in a small business environment
  • Understand the Hong Kong market, culture and customer needs


  • High Diploma graduates or above
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Must be available for travel overseas
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related fields highly preferred
  • Excellent Customer Service, communication Skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Outgoing and willing to do outreach work
  • Ability to meet deadline
  • Organized and attention to detail
  • Willing to be on call during off hours and weekends
  • Self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Experience working in telecommunication or similar technical field (Voice, Data or Property Management) a strong advantage
