Principal Functions and purpose of the position

This position is responsible for developing and managing relationships with major donors, charitable trusts and foundations, communities and corporate groups in support of WWF conservation and education work. The position engages different communities, including corporate and community groups to support WWF campaigns and join various activities and events.


Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with Conservation and Education staff to identify the projects which can be offered to major donors and charitable trusts and foundations for support
  • Prepare and present compelling funding concept notes and develop these into proposals to prospects
  • Develop relationships and funding support for WWF's programmes , projects and activities at centres
  • Monitor all contacts in Salesforce to ensure positive and purposeful prospect and donor relations
  • Meet fundraising targets and metrics as agreed with the Director, Development
  • Maintain Salesforce records on accounts and contacts , leads and prospects and update Raiser’s Edge on acquisitions

Required Functional and behavioural skills

  • Degree holder with 3+ years of experience in fundraising, sales and marketing
  • Proven track record of planning fundraising and revenue generation
  • Evidence of experience of engaging communities, corporates and public
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and preferable Chinese, including Mandarin
  • Experience in working with diverse donors and volunteer

We offer a 5-day work week and competitive compensation and benefits packages to the right candidate. The office location of this post is at our Kwai Hing office (near MTR station) and required to work as arranged across all centres and other locations (in Central, Yuen Long, Tai Po and Sai Kung).
