Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented, ambitious and driven Account Manager/Assistant Account Manager to support our exciting growth plans in Asia. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive support service to our client management teams.

You will support a thriving team and advise clients on communications strategies. You’ll be organised and analytical in nature with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.

The role will involve an individual to work effectively in pressured situations, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills is essential.

 General Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage overall communications strategies and programmes for clients
  • Develop social media strategies and implement effective programs for clients
  • Build proactive and positive relationship with clients
  • Plan and create media angles for effective story pitching
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists to maximise positive exposure opportunities for clients
  • Organise and manage PR events, including press conferences, press launches, media events, etc.
  • Draft and translate press releases, speeches, announcements, reports and presentation materials, etc. under a tight timeframe
  • Support to drive new and existing business and manage pitch process  
  • Conduct new business research and be able to leverage your knowledge to present an insightful analysis
  • Work closely with colleagues across global offices to ensure an impeccable implementation on strategic communications programs

Skills & Experience (please populate as appropriate for the role)

  • Exceptional academic background, preferably in communications, journalism or business.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • A minimum of five years of relevant working experience (either agency or in-house). Candidates with less experience will be considered for an Assistant Account Manager role
  • Experience in corporate, financial or FMCG sectors is an advantage
  • Outstanding client servicing and project management skills
