Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Keep a high quality output of work for all onboarding operations across different segments including In-branch, Employee Banking and Mobile CASA...etc at all times.
  • Lead a team/sub-team in HK in delivering personal savings & current account as well as Investment account opening functions.
  • Monitor hub performance relating to personal savings & current account as well as Invesment account opening functions.
  • Streamline workflow and introduce automation process in order to cope with the ever changing needs of the market and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote the concept of cross-function support, multi-skills training and experience sharing with all staff members of the department.
  • Provide full operational support to various business initiatives, keep good working relationship and provide consultation in term of operational perspectives with stakeholders.
  • Maintain good staff morale within Deposit & Investment Operations team and provide guidance to the team/groom potential staff for their development/ succession planning.
  • Undertake/oversee periodic self-assessment on key controls (KCSA) and to ensure proper functioning and adequacy of controls are always in place.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Solid experience in Banking Operations with solid people management experience
  • Able to work with various stakeholders independently
  • Preferable with knowledge of the TP Systems used in SCB, including but not limited to Hogan, SAO and S2O.
  • Fluent In written & spoken English while fluency in Putonghua would be an added advantage
  • Expressive and able to communicate with stakeholders effectively with strong presentation skills
  • Able to prioritize and deliver against agreed deadlines for projects, assignments, etc.
