Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Support day to day financial activities including data entry to month and management accounts and/ or year-end financial statements
• Performs monthly general ledger closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, aging reconciliations, account reconciliations and analyses, measurement of performance vs budget, and variance explanations relative to changes in revenues, expense and net assets
• Conducts accounting consolidation of various global entities and ensures the integrity and reliability of financial reporting
• Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes
• Act as a business partner to responsible business divisions for accounting issues and queries
• Perform other ad-hoc assignment as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in accounting or auditing
• Familiar with general accounting and bookkeeping skills
• Experience in financial consolidation and balance sheet review are preferred, with MNC exposure is welcome which is not a must
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Independent, mature, responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
