Accounting Assistant (Fresh Graduates are welcomed)

Job Purpose

To handle all payments relating to the purchase of local and overseas merchandise.

Key Accountabilities

  • Process vendors’ invoices and debit notes in a timely manner
  • Report any irregularities or exception to supervisor during invoice-matching process
  • Check journal entries for accuracy
  • Process payments according to priorities and ensure all invoices are paid promptly
  • Handle the filing of payment vouchers and documents
  • Follow up enquiries and prepare reconciliation of creditors’
  • Assist the supervisor in streamlining workflow and review the payable processes to streamline workflow & business process
  • Identify ways to improve productivities and efficiencies
  • Coordinate with other divisions / departments on strengthening internal control systems


  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail / FMCG industry
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with key stakeholders
  • Good organization, numerical, analytical and Excel skills
  • Committed team player to support other team members
  • Fresh Graduates will be considered
