We are recruiting for an Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team in our Hong Kong headquarters. As our company is one of the fastest growing start-ups in Asia, our Finance function is an essential working part of our company and we are looking for a candidate passionate in this area of the business.

As an Assistant Accountant at Prenetics, you will be in charge of our day-to-day operations and be able to move fast and get things done. You will be able to prioritize tasks and work closely with the team but also independently to hit deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and arranging payments
  • Perform daily accounting entries, documentation in an organized manner
  • Scan and upload invoices/receipts to electronic system for filing
  • Generate reports to management team
  • Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis
  • Assist in preparing Monthly and Year-end closing procedures
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as required

Requirement

  • Higher Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Preferable 1- 2 years of experience in Accounting and book keeping
  • Proficiency in MS office and Chinese word processing
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese & Mandarin
  • Mature, independent and self-motivated
  • Good team player with interpersonal skills
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
