Vacancies of the Financial Accounting Department of the Kum Shing Group are opened to suitable candidates for application. Being led by the company’s Group Financial Controller, a professional accountant with CA and CPA designations who is also an authorized supervisor of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a formal plan of career development will be offered to right candidates selected for the following positions:

1. Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable)

Responsibilities:

Performs a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions including

  • Prepare / review and submit customer invoices;
  • Prepare payment code & receipts;
  • Post payments;
  • Preform and coordinate deposit activities;
  • Perform all necessary reconciliations between accounts, banks and the other parties;
  • Monitor customer accounts for ageing, non-payment and delayed payment;
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers, as well as other financial records;
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures;
  • Assist in other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

2. Accounting Clerk (Accounts Payable)

Responsibilities:

Performs a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions including:

  • Check, verify and process invoices;
  • Prepare payments for signature;
  • Sort, code and input accounts payable data;
  • Spot out & tackle discrepancies and unpaid invoices;
  • Maintain vendor files;
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers, as well as other financial records;
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures;
  • Assist in other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • F.5 or above with certificate in business related disciplines, preferably accounting;
  • With qualification of LCCI or above;
  • 1 - 2 years of work experience in accounting (fresh graduates are also welcome);
  • Applicants with experience in formal accountancy is an advantage;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and thoughtfulness;
  • Immediate available is preferred.
