Roles and Responsibilities

Company Level

Provision of support to facilitate the business financial management and for strategic decision making. Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare Finance Analytical report;
  • Monitor liquid capital;
  • Engage in Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting analysis across the several entities of the Group;
  • Manage and provide financial best practice around areas such as credit control, billings, receivables, payables;
  • Assist in monthly account closing as well as analysing and investigating variances;
  • Prepare group consolidated accounts;
  • Assist in preparation of various financial monitoring reports for the Senior Management;
  • Ensure the procedure manuals are kept up-to-date and the required control procedures are properly implemented;
  • Work collaboratively with other Financial & Accounting colleagues to identify working capital best practices in order to optimize internal processes; and
  • Assist in any ad-hoc duties when required.

Company Clients Level

Provision of management accounts for our clients’ investment companies, as well as provision of high-quality business support and administration services to clients. Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing general accounting functions including processing of data, perform monthly reconciliations, and maintenance of ledgers;
  • Assisting in preparation of management accounts for various clients;
  • Assisting in analysing and investigating monthly and annual variances; and
  • Overseeing the audit process of clients’ accounts and company secretarial maintenance of clients’ companies.


Skills and Requirements

Academic:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional certification, such as the CPA is an advantage.

Work experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Financial Accountant, Controller or a similar position.
  • Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry in Hong Kong is preferred.
  • Having knowledge of FRR is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge is required on financial and accounting principles (IFRS or HK Reporting Standards) as well as audit matters.
  • Treasury experience is a plus.

  • IT skills: Strong command of the entire Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Languages: Full working proficiency in English as well as Mandarin and/or Cantonese. Additional language(s) is/are a plus.
  • Conditions: The candidate should have the right to work in Hong Kong with an existing work visa.
