A vacancy has become available for an experience Accounting/Finance Manage with prior Asset Management accounting experience.
This role sits in the regional finance team of a global investment company, and will suit someone who has experience of working in large buy-side businesses.
My client is an international, independently-ran Investment Management company, with nearly $1 trillion US dollars in Assets Under Management.

Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget and accounting.
Participates in the preparation of various management reports and analysis.
Directs and maintains accounting records.
Participates in revenue and various fee rates review.
Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
Coordinates/preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
Able to prepare financial statements and liaise with the auditors.
Participate on new system implementation.
The successful candidate will have at least most of the following attributes:
Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years relevant working experience - Preferably within the FS industry.
Working knowledge of Investment Management businesses.
Audit experience with big accounting firms is advantageous.
Good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
Good IT application knowledge including but not limited to Excel, word and PowerPoint.
Good time management to fulfil tight deadlines on monthly, quarterly and annually reporting.
Able to manage project and/or tasks independently.
Able to build a good working relationship with the finance team in each business unit within Asia Pacific and other departments within the company in Greater China region
Good language ability in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin preferred.
