Accounting Manager - System Development

  • Member of recognized professional Accountancy bodies,
  • degree holder in relevant subjects
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (with experience in property development and property management industry will be an advantage)
  • Proficient in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft office software, experience in HFM and project management experience
  • Can work independently, welI-organized, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in Oracle Financial Management System and JD Edwards will be an advantage

Job Duties:

  • Supervising and overseeing the administration and enhancement of the Financial Consolidation System (HFM)
  • Lead other system enhancement projects including standardization of reporting package, upgrade of accounting system with an aim to improve  accuracy and efficiency, and to strengthen internal control
  • Work closely with external consultants and IT department in new project development and management; support and resolve system issues with accounting teams in both Hong Kong and Overseas offices
  • Monitor various system reporting deadlines maintain detailed and accurate documentation of finance administration operation procedures of HFM; maintain and follow up on HFM issues and potential enhancements; and lead planning and initiating the fixed asset register system implementation and other process re-engineer in the Finance Department
