At the moment, we are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our professional team at Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East.
Assist in the timely billing of accounts, in balancing daily transfer to city ledger and post, edit and update to accounts receivable system, in the reconciliation of accounts, in reconciling the weekly purchase log, in maintain the batch register and balance daily to general ledger and preparing the accruals journal at month end for regular suppliers and delivery dockets not paid.
Maintain a filing system for account receivable records and accounts payable records.
In the absence of the Accounts Supervisor (Payable / Receivable), handle correspondence and queries regarding city ledger accounts. Respond to and resolve account queries.
Collate suppliers documentation for processing. Reconcile supplier statements with established records and report any discrepancies. Ensure all invoices have the appropriate documentation attached and approvals prior to processing. Process all invoices and statements. Record and process payments of goods and services. Check arithmetic accuracy and invoices.
Prepare cheque run for approval on a weekly basis.
Use finance computer programs
1 year experience in an accounting clerical, receiving position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferably in hospitality industry is an advantage.
Diploma or Vocational or above in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
Good Communication and writing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
