Roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office administration and operations including but not limited to arranging equipment maintenance, fixed assets registrations, document and record keeping, maintaining office supplies, budgeting and cost control as well as workplace storage planning and renovation;
  • assist in consolidating the regular/annual exercises (such as annual report/plan/budget) for the Section;
  • consolidate and formulate the office yearly plan/budget of the Section for management’s approval;
  • handle the recruitment, payroll and job assignment to temporary staff, consolidate attendance records and provide orientation to newly recruited staff of the Section;
  • prepare management checklists, administration reports and relevant analyses to keep track of the execution of departmental business;
  • make recommendations for applications of staff welfare schemes/grants and ensure all applications are processed in a timely and proper manner; and
  • handle telephone enquiries from internal staff members and external parties.


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent preferably in Administration or related disciplines;
  • Grade D or above in both English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese, and preferably in Putonghua;
  • good interpersonal skills;
  • preferably with at least 1 year relevant management experience and skills in drafting administration policy; and
  • able to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
