The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide administrative and clerical support to designated functional areas (e.g. academic programmes, research studies, research grant applications and related personnel recruitment, domestic services, financial issues, etc.);

(b) assist in organising School events and functions;

(c) manage an effective filing system and School database;

(d) perform counter duties and provide administrative support to the general office and other academic services; and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School or his/her delegates.

The appointee may be required to work on irregular hours including evenings.


Applicants should:

(a) have five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;

(b) have some relevant working experience, preferably gained from tertiary institutions;

(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;

(d) have proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing;

(e) be able to work independently with minimum supervision;

(f) be a good team-player and have a good sense of customer service; and

(g) have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
