Administrative Assistant (Ref. 230529011-IE)
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative and clerical support to designated functional areas (e.g. academic programmes, housekeeping/domestic service, and some research and/or appointments/payment administration, etc.);
(b) assist in organising School events and functions;
(c) manage an effective filing system and School database in the designated functional areas;
(d) perform counter duties and provide administrative support to the general office and other academic services;
(e) supervise the Office Assistants in providing the general office support and clerical and domestic services to the clients; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School or his/her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work on irregular hours including evenings.
Applicants should have:
(a) five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;
(b) at least two years’ relevant working experience;
(c) a good command of both English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;
(d) proficiency in computer applications including MS Word and Chinese word processing;
(e) the ability to work independently with minimum supervision;
(f) the attributes of a good team player and a good sense of customer service; and
(g) good communication and interpersonal skills.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
