Administrator, Transaction Management


What is the opportunity?

The position is within Hong Kong Client Operations of the RBC Investor and Treasury Services (I&TS) business and is responsible of ensuring the daily production agility, accuracy and efficiency by observing operational risk and control to meet service deliverables.

What will you do?

  • Reporting into the team lead of Transaction Management, this role requires to perform daily transaction management tasks, such as: to prepare daily transactions, payments and invoicing that handles by Hong Kong Transaction Management team to ensure all the deliverables and cut-off are met
  • Assume the role of junior client service representative to act as the key liaison between the Client and the Global Operating Center when issues and enquiries arise and to possess the client service attitude and ready for problem solving to ensure the client requirements are fully supported
  • Ensure client requirements are fully supported by providing high quality handling of daily
  • Liaise and follow up with stakeholders for any unreconciled transaction items
  • Assist the Manager for team quality and performance as well as perform relevant tasks for monitoring the daily tasks performed by the team
  • Assist the Manager to implement new procedures, client transitions and projects
  • Involve in key quality and productivity improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency
  • Follow the company internal policies and procedures
  • Assist the ongoing improvement and evaluation of procedures to control and reduce operational risk

What do you need to succeed?


  • Bachelor Degree (Accounting and Finance preferred)
  • Working experience in the financial industry with good business acumen
  • Good working knowledge about Securities and Fund Services on direct / global custody operations, i.e. Trade Settlement and/or Corporate Actions, Cash and FX Settlement
  • Good working knowledge on Hong Kong MPF market, in addition to fund order placement with external fund houses and transfer agency
  • Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken
  • Good command and knowledge on Excel and Bloomberg would be a plus
