Advisory - Risk, Financial Services - Actuarial Services (Insurance Analytics) - Senior Associate

Your key responsibilities


  • Perform advance data analytics technics (Data Mining/Statistical Modeling) and Machine Learning technics on Insurance in-house data to add action insights to EY clients through Actuarial Projects
  • Apply data analytics skillsets and industry knowledge to facilitate all types of insurance related projects (Marketing & Distribution,?Underwriting, Customer Management, Actuarial, Claims, Operation, Finance and Investment)
  • Provide exceptional consulting services and data knowledge to our clients
  • Contribute to capability development and actuarial knowledge base through feeding back best practices and redefining tools and techniques as appropriate
  • Conduct Advance insurance analytics: pay as you live, pay as you drive
  • Conduct Data visualization by utilizing Tableau and create interactive?visual reporting




Skills and attributes for success


  • Good project management, communication and inter-people skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and VBA
  • Solid?SQL & R?modelling exposure is a MUST, SAS or?Python will be a strong plus
  • Insurance Product and process knowledge are preferred




To qualify for the role you must have


  • Postgraduate/graduate Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science with at least 3 years of insurance experience, experience in an actuarial and/or risk-related environment is preferred
  • Attained or close to attaining Associate/Fellowship in actuarial professional examination
  • Good command of spoken and written English; Mandarin is an advantage
