Airworthiness Engineer (CAMO)

The purpose of this role is to be the main point of contact between the CAMO function and the Lead Captains of the allocated aircraft. Be accountable for the overall co-ordination of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. And act as liaison between CAMO Department and the Flight Operations Department and build a positive and transparent relationship with the clients and Lead Captains. Organise and co-ordinate the aircraft maintenance requirements in an effective and efficient manner to minimise cost and down time. Support the growing needs of client instantaneous demands for quick charter and aircraft availability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Arrange scheduled maintenance
  • Review Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins and ensure compliance
  • Arrange unscheduled maintenance and communicate with pilots
  • Monitor ADD for expiry
  • Monitor ADD for aircraft operating restrictions and advise IOC
  • Monitor CMP, CAMP, Flightdocs for aircraft maintenance status.
  • Daily update for CAMP/CMP/FlightDocs Maintenance Tracking System
  • Ensure aircraft/engine log books are updated
  • Provide updated maintenance information for managed aircraft
  • Update IOC with aircraft maintenance schedule
  • Manage fleet interiors defects
  • Coordinate with KAM for schedule maintenance
  • Monitor and update spares status for ADD
  • Coordinate AOG recovery with IOC
  • Aircraft Utilization Report
  • Complete 100% audit of maintenance release paperwork before approving aircraft release to service.
  • Co-ordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events as part of a 24/7 AOG call out roster.

Job Requirements: 

  • Higher Diploma in any aviation or relevant disciplines is preferable
  • Holder of HKCAD, EASA or FAA maintenance license or equivalent is preferable.
  • 5 years+ experience in aviation industry is preferable
  • Ability to interpret aircraft inspection manuals, airworthiness directives and service bulletins and can understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject-matter, particularly as it pertains to aviation and the aviation industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command in both the written and spoken English
  • Mature and results-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Willing to work various shifts and days off
  • Take part in a Roster system to provide 24/7 CAMO Support for AOG and service critical events.
