This role is a part of the Client Services team based in HK but may support resources in the APAC region.

Client Details

My client is an international asset manager operating across 25 countries and territories. Their proven expertise across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, liquidity and alternative investments allows them to unlock sustainable investment opportunities for some of the largest institutional investors globally.

Description

  • Close cooperation with Client Managers/ Institutional Sales, as required in the completion of client related requests and enquiries (tailoring of presentations, market, sector analysis, DDQ/RFI/RFP)
  • Support the team to ensure the successful launch of new product offerings / capabilities, as appropriate based on coverage, including in Korea
  • Assist in the preparation and development of ad hoc reports, working with Marketing, Product teams and Investment teams to develop ad-hoc reports and ensure delivery to appropriate clients
  • Assist in the effective and smooth on-boarding process for new clients
  • Customise client reports/presentations, translate market commentaries and devise report templates where required
  • Assist in information gathering of client/prospect details and competitor landscape
  • Support deal opportunities in APAC region
  • Communicate fund and market information to external clients e.g. distribute corporate actions and upload market commentary

Profile

  • Korean language skills required
  • Minimum 2 years in investment management business/capability-based role
  • Past experience in client servicing role within an asset management business is preferred
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment products
  • Ability to prioritize tasks when faced with competing priorities
  • Strong technical, organisational and project management skills are required in order to manage a broad client base, diverse business lines with differing needs and deadlines
  • IT and business systems knowledge/familiarity (Excel, Bloomberg, Morningstar etc.)
