Position Scope:

  • Oversees AMEA digital marketing by integrating all AMEA disciplines, consolidating the budget, recommending spend priorities, identifying synergies and opportunities, and acting as a single point of contact for all AMEA digital activities this position and their two direct reports are responsible for.
  • Informs, influences and educates multiple stakeholders about digital: 9-11 PMUs/countries (with a focus on Burt’s Bees (BBA), Glad, Clorox, Ever Clean, Chux) and Senior MarComm and Studio Leaders within Clorox
  • Digital Lead for AMEA Glad & BBA. This includes the AMEA Glad & BBA digital strategy, planning and execution,
  • Responsible for developing and executing the Digital Marketing Plan for the assigned Categories and Brands within the defined geographic scope, following or developing the Digital Strategy, managing the Digital Budget, supporting the E-Comm business and delivering the initiatives on time following best practices. This position develops and implements world-class digital programs, including paid, earned and owned assets  (websites, advertising, social, mobile, creative campaigns, SEM, e-tailers, etc.) working closely with regional and global Marketing and Sales teams, as well as retailers and mobile, social and digital agencies to develop and execute a holistic consumer experience platform.
  • Provides Digital expertise across a full spectrum of digital vehicles that can ultimately help improve the website experience, social media, relationship marketing, search, mobile, online retailer presence and other opportunities.

This position will initially be responsible for conducting an assessment of the state of digital on Glad AMEA and BBs Asia, way of working in AMEA, and digital needs in AMEA in order to define objectives/priorities, and outline a plan for delivering against those objectives/priorities, within these two key role responsibilities:

1) AMEA MarComm Lead

  • Manages 2 Direct Reports (Digital Marketing Managers, (avg 7 years of experience))
  • Oversees AMEA Marcomm, and acts as the Single Point Of Contact for the AMEA Studio Leader (Marketing Director)
  • Informs, influences and educates multiple stakeholders about digital: 9-11 PMUs/countries (with a focus on Burt’s Bees, Glad, Clorox, Ever Clean, Chux) and Senior MarComm and Studio Leaders within Clorox
  • Identifies synergies and streamlines activities across AMEA and categories, including common agendas, business needs, best practices, learnings and success cases.
  • Integrates all disciplines, consolidates the budget, and provides support to AMEA Studio Leader (Marketing Director)
  • Accountable for driving ROI and recommending optimal spending options
  • Supports IMC process (FoP) and ad hoc initiatives (ie Media Reviews, Agency relationships)
  • Implements International Digital Strategic recommendations and best practices coming from the International Digital Strategist, and informs the International Digital Strategist of AMEA digital marketing status and needs

 

2) AMEA Digital Manager

  • Glad AMEA: Will partner with brand teams to define the digital strategy and  will be responsible for planning and delivering initiatives through digital channels. Will also partner with Brand and Sales E-Comm teams to recommend platforms, and develop content and assets to support e-commerce plans
  • Burt's Bees Asia: Works jointly with AMEA Burt’s Bees Studio and BBs CDU to provide SBU input for development of global strategy. Partners with Brand and Sales E-Comm teams to recommend the platforms, develop the content and assets to support e-commerce plans.Responsible for Asia digital strategy planning working jointly with Studio (s) to activate

 

Requirements:

At least 7-10 years of digital experience in companies or agencies. Experience in managing people.

Strategy & Planning:

Digital and Content Strategy definition

Annual Planning, calendar of activities

Budget Planning

Owned:

Website definition, development, maintenance and continuous improvement

Mobile: app development

Social Media: Trends, how to use social platforms, best practices, community management, always on support

Earned: How to generate and leverage earned media

Paid:  Digital media planning, buying (programmatic, sponsored content, native advertising, etc.), and best practices

E-Comm: Assets & content development relevant to e-comm, digital coupons and incentives, planning with retailers, paid search in etailers.

Measurement & Optimization:  Defining KPIs against objectives, and optimizing based on performance

Full-cycle digital campaign execution:  Managed digital marketing campaigns from brief to strategy, creative idea, media planning, asset creation, execution, measurement and optimization)

Activations to support brands:

o   Integrated Marketing Campaigns or Digital Only Campaigns

o   Consumer promos

o   Brand equity building

Education

Degree in Advertising, Communication, Marketing, Business Administration,Public Relations
