AML Compliance Assistant, Financial Crime Compliance (1-year)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate commitment to regulatory requirements and guidelines with a high level of ethical standard
  • Perform AML function on a continuous basis, including the detection and reporting of suspicious transactions and activities
  • Ensure the alerts generated from the system are fully and properly investigated
  • Identify and investigate the patterns, trends and abnormalities on transaction cases and file the Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) appropriately on a timely basis, so as to meet the AML requirements
  • Assist in tracking and checking different status of account maintenance (e.g. AML system, registers of transaction monitoring tasks etc)
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve operation efficiency on ongoing Transaction Monitoring duties and compliance functions, such as alerts generation based on the predefined Transaction
  • Support ad-hoc projects/assignments related to AML/CFT if necessary

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree holder is preferred
  • Relevant work experience in financial services industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software
  • Attentive to details with strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter with integrity
  • Sensitive to numbers with a high level of accuracy
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills for handling internal and external parties
  • Proactive with can-do attitude
  • Prefer immediately available or short notice-period candidate
