Perform a checker role on customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring for Octopus wallet and merchant customers (tasks including onboarding, name screening, trigger event review, etc.)
Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff so as to improve the quality of deliverables
Conduct regular high-risk review to existing customers (both individuals and merchants) and trigger event reviews (where necessary)
Gather relevant information and prepare regular reports for management review and for regulatory reporting
Contribute to the review, standardization and rollout of policies, procedures, processes and systems if necessary
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management and assist other team members where necessary
Degree holder preferably in Risk Management, Engineering or Computer Science discipline
At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial services industry with sound experience in AML Compliance
Knowledgeable in Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance/Banking Ordinance and HKMA’s AML Guideline is a plus
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel (hands-on experience in MS Excel functions e.g. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc. is an advantage)
Attentive to details and multi-tasking
Quick learner and proactive with can-do attitude
Able to provide quality work under tight schedule and minimal supervision
Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
