A typical day in this role:

• Engage in the entire system development life cycle, such as gathering user requirements, designing, coding, testing and implementing of core trading platform
• Develop, enhance, and provide supports to existing systems and applications
• Prepare test plan, test cases/scripts, test environments, data and perform testing
• Collaborate and liaise with team members and stakeholders to solve both technical issues and business requirement enquiries

About you:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in Java preferred
• Proficiency in network programming, SQL and multi-threading programming is an advantage
• Familiarity with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and Play Framework is a plus
• Experience in developing Securities / Futures trading application or FIX protocol is a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, good team player with pleasant and independent attributes
• Pro-active with analytical mindset to tackle issues
• Candidate with less experience and fresh graduates will be considered as Programmer
