Description
Job Title – Communications Assistant, Asia Pacific
Location – Hong Kong

The role holder will provide support to the head of Corporate Communications for Asia Pacific and broader team on the implementation of the different facets of the regional communications plan that includes related logistical and administrative tasks.
This full-time role provides an opportunity to be across all facets of the Communications and is a starting role within the field of Communications.

Your Role
  • Coordinate and support the distribution of the media monitoring daily emails
  • Manage the media and internal communications toolkit to ensure dashboards and lists are up to date
  • Manage the publications list including subscriptions and distribution amongst the team
  • Support communications including media event logistics such as room bookings, AV arrangements, catering and other related activities
  • Manage the APAC Corporate Communications mailbox and answer queries
  • Book/ arrange meetings and/or conference calls and ensure necessary materials are circulated ahead of time for Communications events including those for media, awards, vendor briefing, townhalls, etc.
  • Supporting the regular reporting for the Communications team as well as keep the various communications activities calendars updated
  • Manage processing of invoices and travel expenses for the team
  • Arrange and coordinate any travel and accommodation as required
  • Provide the broader team with assistance on various communication activities from time to time

Essential Skills
  • Bachelors Degree (Business, Communications or related)
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience ideally within financial services
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin would be ideal to facilitate conversations with internal/external stakeholders and clients (spoken and/or written)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office)
  • Team Oriented

  • Interest and basis understanding of Communications
  • Have worked in fast-paced environment
  • Energetic and self-motivated
