Global MNC seeking a talented senior hire to join their team as an APAC Director focusing on Change Management, Project Management and Programmes across multiple retail projects, to drive large scale retail projects across APAC and define/re-design existing business processes and implement front-end strategies.
Our client is an established global MNC operating in over 100 countries, renowned for their portfolio of brands and strong presence in the industry. They are currently seeking a talented and strategic individual to join their team as APAC Director focusing on Change Management, Project Management and Programmes across multiple retail projects, to drive large scale retail projects across APAC. This role reports into the Vice-President for APAC and is a permanent role based in Hong Kong.
Leading a regional team of 6 based in the Asia HQ office, you will be:
The Project Lead on both existing and upcoming Retail Projects; including POS upgrading across APAC
Defining and re-designing existing business processes and implement front-end strategies
Managing all Change Management initiatives related to in-store retail excellence and performance
Managing and developing a sustainable operations planning / project timeline to execute effective delivery to meet the business objectives, working collaboratively with multiple senior stakeholders
Spearhead and develop all detailed project planning including determining scope, budget, resources and resolution recommendations
Degree in Business, Finance, Strategy or equivalent
10+ years' experience in project management, change management, retail operations and retail training - experience within the retail industry is essential
Strategic mind-set and experienced with business overviews, defining business processes and implementing change strategies
Thorough understanding of Retail POS, with a track record in leading major business projects with large programmes / technology component preferred
Strong communication skills; the role will require the selected individual to operate at a management level liaising closely with senior stakeholders (both internally and externally)
High proficiency in MS Office including MS Project and Excel
Comfortable with 15 - 20% travelling responsibilities
