Our Business / Opportunity: Transition Management Regional Lead

Reporting into the Global Head of Markets Transition Management, the APAC Regional Lead will be responsible for the oversight of the APAC Transition Management Team, Client and Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic delivery. They will be accountable for driving the overall Global Transition Management agenda and will work side by side with the APAC Team Lead to:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop the presence, scope and branding of Transition Management team within the Region
  • Develop strong relationships with all business partner groups within the onboarding lifecycle including Ref Data, KYC, Credit Legal and Operations
  • Drive frequent and meaningful Sales Engagement through the provision of data and MIS
  • Lead with a 'client first' mentality and framework and develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Have excellent analytical and strategic skill set
  • Cultivate strategic thinking, innovation and action within the team and beyond
  • Possess sound strategic vision and practice clear and effective communication to the broader audience
  • Develop and maintain a strong team culture through inclusive and diverse team structure, engagement and management.

The Transition Management Team:

The Transition Manager Team acts in an advisory capacity, translating a sales mandate/new business onboarding into an operational account through the active management of the end to end onboarding process across Sales and Trading, Credit, Risk, Legal, Client Service, Middle Office and KYC. The expectation is to deliver a seamless and timely multi-asset class on-boarding for our clients in line with the needs and objectives of the Sales organization. The Transition Management team is a global cross product function with locations in the US, EMEA & ASIA.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following:

Client Focus specific:

  • Prior experience within onboarding and/or relevant business partners groups preferred
  • Knowledge of industry landscape and breadth of product offering desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong client management skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proven ability to problem solve: can listen to client requirements, anticipate possible issues, seek to eliminate, mitigate, and escalate as appropriate
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability to client and business leadership
  • Have excellent analytical and strategic skill set
  • Cultivate strategic thinking, innovation and action within the team and beyond
  • Possess sound strategic vision and practice clear and effective communication to the broader audience
  • Develop and maintain a strong team culture through inclusive and diverse team structure, engagement and management.
