What You'll Do

The newly formed Global Sales Segments and Industries (GSSI) team is chartered with transforming Cisco’s GTM blueprint across a wide range of target markets.

GSSI charter is to drive innovative sales strategies across our customer segments and industries, scale best practices worldwide, and deliver a consistent experience for customers, partners and field teams

We work closely with Cisco’s Sales Leadership Team (SLT) to identify the most critical GTM opportunities for the business. We are strategic leaders who are passionate about market strategy, scale, and innovation.

You will drive strategy and alignment with Public Sector leaders and Country leaders in the APJC, accelerating APJC Public Sector business by driving consistent and executable sales plays & other best practices. You will provide inputs to developing and rolling out automated analytics/dashboards/benchmarking. You drive alignment in delivery industry specific relevant solutions and globally consistent sales planning tools and systems.

You will help our sales teams achieve more by driving global GTM consistency, through standardization, and driving predictability.

You will amplify APJC PS customer’s voice to relevant groups within Cisco and be a champion in sharing best practices from the region.

The role requires you to have a combination of strategic and operational rigor across sales and operations, as well as the creativity to drive and propose a program to ensure field engagement. In this role, you are central to how GPSS builds and delivers value to its key stakeholders.

You will ensure strong alignment with APJC SLT, Public Sector leaders, Country leaders in the region.

Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree; MBA or Masters degree preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience
  • Deep knowledge of public sector
  • Deep understanding of the Integrated/End to End sales process
