Now Medikonia is seeking candidates with advanced-level technical expertise for the role of Application Specialist. The Application Specialist will ensure successful implementation and support of all the equipment and provide remote and onsite server for the end users.

Work With Sales Team In Order To


  • To assist with selling process in laboratories
  • Train customers & internal employees on Medikonia portfolio
  • Define growth opportunities (Protein analysis, Imaging, Biomarker, Flow cytometry …)
  • Support and develop strong customer relationships by acting as a liaison between the customer and various departments with the company
  • In conjunction with Sales and Marketing teams represent the company at conferences, shows, workshops and seminars locally, regionally or nationally, as necessary



  • Installation of equipment with sales.
  • First line support to customer operations & workflow
  • Provide troubleshooting, assistance and be available for all tech support needs via telephone, fax and computer (e-mail and Internet), and in person
  • Work independently to coordinate training, troubleshooting and maintenance support to customers while being responsive to customer
  • Support and develop strong customer relationships by acting as a liaison between the customer and various departments with the company
  • Assist with developing presentation materials for training or customer materials
  • Maintain customer data base with up to date information on site visits and customer contact information
  • Monitor and report important activities (technical developments, trends within key accounts, seminars, training sessions, etc.) back to the relevant company division
  • Abide by training and complaint handling SOP’s to ensure consistency amongst all new and existing accounts
  • Maintain clear and complete records of procedure relevant to the position
  • Provide back-up for departmental co-workers
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products
  • Perform other related duties as assigned ad-hoc by management
  • Put in place simple workflow analysis, train the team on work flow analysis basis
  • Reinforce our proposal around customers’ needs in accreditation (need training)



  • PhD degree with biochemistry, biomedicine, molecular biology, medical science, chemistry, physics or other related background is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of biomarker research, drug development, protein analysis, flow cytometry and imaging technology (gel imaging, cell imaging, in vivo imaging, etc)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele including good written and oral communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform complex and time-critical tasks with optimum effectiveness and efficiency with little or no supervision in high-pressure situations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail and adherence to SOPs and Work Instructions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation
