Application Support Analyst(Front-Office)

About the role
  • Provide application support to clients in the region and identify root cause to problems
  • Track incidents and update clients on reported issues
  • Verify reported issues and troubleshoot
  • Participate in system specification according to Client's standard
  • Plan and report on assigned tasks
  • Review business requirements and provide constructive feedback
  • Co-ordinate with development team
  • Enhance support and operational procedures by streamlining processes and automation.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate and effective communication with users, application teams, vendors and the global IT head office.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor degree or above in Computer Sciences / Financial Engineering or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3 - 6 years' of relevant experience in finance software production support and deployment will be an advantage
  • Have working experience and troubleshooting skill in vendor computing environment to support financial and banking or I-Bank customers desirable
  • Good knowledge in Capital Markets
  • Knowledge on Derivative markets and on Market Making applications would be an advantage
  • You should be strong in Java / C++ technologies
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure/multi-tasking
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Extremely motivated, eager to learn and adaptable
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential
