Application Support Engineer

The successful candidate will provide support to internal users for in-house applications and perform system operation and administrative tasks such as application monitoring, user access management and audit. He / She will coordinate users, developers and vendors on application development, deployment, UAT and troubleshooting; as well as manage incidents and requests from Help Desk, users and management. Other duties include preparing documentations such as setup guides, configuration, maintenance and operations procedures etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Level 3 or above in English and Chinese in HKDSE or equivalent
  • Experience in the following:
    • Application Documentation and Support
    • Application / Database Server Management and Support
    • Web-based system maintenance
    • SQL development
  • Knowledge of the following would be an advantage:
    • Git, Docker, CI/CD
    • Agile methodology
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
