This position is hired to strengthen our production support and ensure our customers (including our cinema partners and the end customers) can enjoy the best experiences when they are purchasing tickets online or in the box offices of the cinema.

As an Application Support Engineer, your key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for production support of ticketing application and ensure the production issues and requests are addressed in a timely manner
  • Production and maintenance support, including incident management, service enquiry, service request and enhancement request
  • Prepare and arrange technical break fix to keep business going
  • Work and coordinate with infrastructure team to troubleshoot and investigate technical issue
  • Enhance system monitoring and improve day-to-day support efficiency
  • Liaising with application development team for technical issues resolutions and implement the change request in accordance with application change management process
  • Install and configure software and system and perform testing before launching new feature to production system
  • Guide users on how to operate computer equipment and software system.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of procedures, user test cases, user manuals and troubleshooting cases with associated resolutions

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Good team player, positive attitude, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Significant day to day support experience in cinema ticketing, retail, online or related business
  • Able to support multiple systems and hardware
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Working experience on Microsoft Windows System, POS system and operations task.
  • On call during cinema business hour with roster is required, however, no shift duty is required

To be qualified for this role, you must have:

  • Qualification is not important as long as you have the aforesaid skills
  • Years of experience is not important as long as you believe you are capable to handle the job and grow together with the company
  • Experiences in ticketing or cinema business will be an advantage
  • Good problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills, analytical mind
