Arborist / Assistant Arborist

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Oversee and supervise landscape works related to arboricultural, horticultural operations and preservation of trees within the site
• Conduct the tree survey or assessment
• Provide advice and supervise planting, transplanting, tree surgery work and control of pest and disease affecting trees on the site and local nursery
• Responsible for procurement of nursery stock
• Handle ad hoc duties and assignments as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS

• Certificate / Diploma / Degree in arboriculture or equivalent
• Qualified Arborist or equivalent of recognized arboriculture organization
• Tree Risk Assessment Qualification or equivalent of recognized organization
• Received relevant training in occupational safety and health relating to tree work operation
• Minimum 3 years' experience in tree care and familiar with tree risk assessment/ manager
• Holder of a valid driving license is an advantage
• Immediately available is highly preferred
