Asia Service Sales Engineer

AMETEK, Inc.

• Ensure the development of a long term profitable service business for CAMECA/Nu in the geographical area of responsibility thus, committing to achieve the targeted figures of sales, and growth in the region.
  • Implement services sales strategy to the region.
  • Implement services sales prospection plan
  • Propose, negotiate and close services deals.
  • Ensure Services contracts renewal (100% renewal)
  • Ensure 100% conversion to a services contract for instruments at the warranty expiration time.
  • Collect instrument sales leads and transfer to sales counterparts.
  • Support instrument sales by provides adaptive services offer.Coordinating with country teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Trigger any sales and service escalation to protect CAMECA/Nu level of services (technical issues).
  • Maintain and expand distribution channels with prior approval of CAMECA management.
  • Protect business interests of CAMECA/Nu in the region of responsibility during project capture process as well as during the implementation phrase.
  • Bring to CAMECA management a clear understanding of the business rule and practices in the area thus enabling CAMECA management to decide best strategies, tactics and overall business approach.
  • Provide weekly reports on the sales activities and customer visit reports to the sales management team
  • Provide monthly reliable forecasts for orders in the region.Plan and organise business visits to support projects.
  • Report on a regular basis all collected information in a synthetic manner to feed Service Sales Leader and CAMECA management with market data and accurate project status update.
  • Focus on customer relationship development, establishment, and improvement.
  • Leverage cross-border knowledge to foster in-country or neighbouring country projects.
  • Pursue research and analysis on market data and competitor’s information in the field of CAMECA/Nu activities.
  • Assist company general management in establishing business development strategy in the region.
  • Conduct business and apply business ethics in regard to FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practice Act) and UKBA (UK Bribery Act) and country law.
Education & competencies:
  • Academic: Bachelor of Science (international commerce, business administration) or higher
  • Competencies: international business competencies, marketing and sales proficiency, management capable both people and business.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin and one additional language (of the region) is a plus
  • Qualities: autonomy, good organizational skills, problem solving availability, care about customers, and team members.
  • Communication: able to understand behind the words and react tactfully
  • Office productivity: Word, Excel, Power Point, ERP, etc.

  • The After-Sales units of each Business Unit of Cameca Services (FSE organisation)
  • The Accounting/Finance department of Ametek and Cameca in Gennevilliers
