We are now inviting suitable candidates to join us in the LiPACE for the following post :

Assistant Academic Support Officer (Ref.: 21001RE)  

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: 

  • providing customer service and borrowing services at help desk in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) or at Campus Management Office (CMO);
  • providing support for the daily operation of LRC, including keeping book record, monitoring the usage of photocopiers, etc.;
  • providing support for the use of AV and IT equipment; 
  • assisting the daily operations and facilities support of the Administrative Unit; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (LiPACE) or his/her nominee(s). 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • at least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English and Chinese languages and Mathematics, preferably with a recognized Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; 
  • good communication skills in English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua);
  • good IT/AV knowledge;
  • a student focused and service mindset; and
  • facilities management experience will be an advantage.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
