Assistant Account Manager (REF:TLM/AAM)

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. The account manager works on strategic development of client annual marketing campaigns and leads the implementation of programs for a variety of client accounts. The roles primary focus is on account management, client counsel and marketing plan delivery as well as to oversees all account activity to ensure operational efficiency to meet both client and company’s goals.


Responsibilities include:

  • Represent tourism boards at key events and gatherings in market including industry conferences, roadshows, training seminars, federal and industry partner events, etc
  • Manage and build travel trade relationships including with tour operators, travel agents (individuals and chains), and the press
  • Strategic development and implementation of annual marketing plans with both online and offline partners

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience 
  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • Extensive knowledge of online and offline marketing campaigns 
  • Ability to think strategically about marketing activities
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Budget management experience
  • PR agency experience is a plus
  • Immediate available is preferred
