Job Accountabilities

  • To prepare approval of invoices for bills received from vendors, and update the supplier invoice register and keep track of in and out of invoices.
  • To input data for Accounts Payable module under BASS Accounting, including batch processing for invoices, bills or debit notes received from vendors and preparation of control summary.
  • To prepare daily bank balance reports, vouchers for daily transactions, daily funding reports and e-banking remittances/cheques for payment of bills approved.
  • To update fixed assets registers, petty cash transactions, transactions of fixed deposits, monthly and year-end ledgers and statements of accounts for both creditors and debtors.
  • To prepare reports including bank reconciliations, monthly statements with supporting documents and monthly funding required for outstanding payables.
  • To perform additional duties to meet both the Company & Department’s needs as desired.
  • For those experienced candidates applying the role of Assistant Accountant, in addition to the above, the job duties will cover handling of all the accounting, tax and audits affairs independently for some of our group legal entities with simpler activities with smaller transaction volume.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or above and LCC intermediate level or above.
  • 3~6 years’ working experience in accounting field.
  • Strong knowledge in A/P matters for accounting operations. For the role of Assistant accountant, solid experience in handling accounting, audit and tax affairs for full set of books of simpler group companies.
  • Good PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel with experience to use Accounting software and/or ERP. Preference will be given to those with experience in AccPac and BASS Accounting.
  • Good command of English & Chinese.
  • Detail-oriented, integrity, strong commitment and motivation to meet timelines and career goals.
