Assistant Accountant

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the day to day financial activities such as data entry to month end management accounts and/or year-end financial statements
  • Handle bank reconciliation, inter-company recharge, departmental accounting, balance sheet schedule preparation and tax computation independently
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, auditing and other ad-hoc assignments as required


  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Pro-active and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with key stakeholders
  • Good organization, numerical, analytical and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle and a Chartered Accountant would be a plus
