Lead capital projects relating to the development and implementation of the Hong Kong RBC capital regime, with a focus on revamping Prudential Hong Kong existing risk appetite framework and developing tools to assist with its ongoing assessment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and revamp of the risk appetite framework and related financial projections to ensure compliance with Pillar 2 requirements.
  • Manage the implementation of the revised risk appetite framework into BAU, including engaging with key stakeholders and preparing reports or presentations where necessary.
  • Support the quantitative risk appetite assessments from both a regulatory and economic capital perspective and provide a review of the output.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree majoring in Actuarial Science or related fields.
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or other equivalent actuarial body.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of actuarial mathematics and life insurance products;
  • Experience in ALM, valuation, pricing. capital management or ERM is preferred;
  • Proficient in Prophet with knowledge of stochastic modeling
  • Familiarity with with-profits business and UK reporting standards an advantage
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer
