Assistant Actuarial Manager - IFRS17

China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited

Responsibilities:

  • Support the IFRS 17 implementation project, system development, process flow enhancement and other practical considerations
  • Assess the data and assumption readiness for transition to IFRS 17
  • Develop the implementation guidelines around IFRS 17. With exposure to senior management to assess the business impact
  • Manage modelling enhancement project to meet the evolving needs on both IFRS 17 and regular reporting
  • Coordinate with IT, finance or other parties to ensure the data and systems fulfil user requirements
  • Assist in capital related reinsurance treaty arrangement setup and implementation

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with 4 years above of relevant experience, preferably in life insurance industry
  • Fellow or nearly fellowship of a recognized actuarial institute
  • Knowledge in IFRS 17 will be an asset
  • Proficiency in actuarial software is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication, planning & project management skills
  • Open and proactive attitude
  • Attention to details and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst
