The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Admissions Office of the Academic Registry. The duties include providing logistics support to the JUPAS, non-JUPAS and the Mainland admissions exercises. One of the major responsibilities is to arrange and participate in overseas and Mainland trips in which frequent duty trips are expected. Other duties include providing secretarial support to committees, preparation of statistical reports and publications, liaising with internal and external parties, handling hotline enquiries and offering counter service; as well as performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should possess a recognised degree and preferably with some relevant work experience. Administrative experience in universities or education institutes will be a definite advantage. The suitable candidates should have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficiency in computer application skills. They should also be self-motivated with positive work attitude as well as a good team player working with a sizable team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as abilities to work independently under tight schedules are essential.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
