Assistant Building Services Manager / Assistant Building Services Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• To lead the in-house technical staff and supervise the manpower resources for operation and maintenance of building facilities, building services equipment and installation in the hospital.
• All aspects of supervision of building services work on site and the maintenance of site records.
• Monitor the take-over process of renovation works and follow up all outstanding building defects until satisfactory completion;
• Report all non-compliance immediately to the Building Services Manager, Contractor’s Representative and the Site Team with proper documentation
• Site survey of existing building services installations including submission of proposals for additional, alteration or repair works.
• Manage the day-to-day building repair works.
• Work according to duty roster, attend emergency call and perform typhoon duty if necessary.
• Carry out all such other duties as directed by the Building Services Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree Holder in related disciplines, preferably in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience, with 3 years at managerial level, preferably in the field of property repair & maintenance
• Previous building services system construction management experience in site supervision is preferred
• Be adaptable and able to work independently, and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; and
• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken is essential.
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Certificate Grade B or above is preferred
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Building Services Manager.
