Assistant Buyer (Furniture)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying profitable furniture products and new suppliers for better price and product quality
  • Manage in price negotiation and cost engineering to maximize gross profit
  • Liaise suppliers/factories to follow sampling, QA and production until product shipped
  • Prepare and analyze daily and weekly sales reports for review with Senior Buyer
  • Prepare sell-through reports for stock replenishment
  • Coordinate with stores & operational teams on stock movement including allocation, replenishment and consolidation
  • Communicate with internal parties to make sure product launch and delivery
  • Handle ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 1 year's working experience, with sourcing experience in furniture will definitely be an advantage
  • A well-organized, detail-minded and self-motivated & pressure resistible person
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing
  • Immediate available is highly preferable
