Assistant Buyer

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in formulating and executing the buying strategy, budget proposals and OTB budget
  • Monitor the sales performance and participate in cost setting
  • Prepare sell-through reports and POS for stock replenishments
  • Work with the marketing team, retail operation team to achieve financial target including brand sales, gross margin and inventory level
  • Coordinate with stores and operations teams on stock movement including allocation, replenishment and consolidation
  • Handle ad hoc projects and company events as assigned
  • Work with vendors to follow up delivery status and shipment discrepancies

Requirements 

  • Diploma or above with fashion related disciplines preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in retail industry, preferably in baby products field
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in Excel(e.g. Pivot & Vlookup), Word, Power Point and Chinese Word Processing
  • Strong numerical, fashion/Toys and market senses
  • Responsible, initiative, excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Occasional travel may be required, immediate available is highly preferred
