Accountabilities – Key Result Areas

  • Prepare OTB, seasonal and annual buying plans based on a thorough understanding of consumer, market trends and company business objectives
  • Monitor closely on OTB, control sales and inventory to achieve seasonal sales and profit targets based on the seasonal business plan
  • Determine buying guides and assortment strategy in order to obtain a seasonal target
  • Oversee inventory costs, sales forecast, gross profit margin to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Formulate pricing strategies based on competitive analysis, market reviews, competitor positions, and financials, etc.
  • Evaluate ongoing performance and takes actions as appropriate

Experience / Qualification Requirements

  • Degree holder in Fashion & Textiles or business discipline
  • With at least 1 years of experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion/lifestyle/retail industry
  • Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent product sensibility and understanding of competitive retail landscape
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Hands-on analytical skills in MS Excel and ERP systems in a sizable corporation
