Assistant Community Manager

Job Summary:
This position is a dedicated resource for selected brand/products. The jobholder will be responsible to manage assigned brands independently with guidance from Community Manager for achieving the set marketing / brand objectives.

The jobholder will support the Community Manager to implement all kinds of marketing action plans and activities for building the brand equity and image of assigned brand/ product(s), to enhance “last 3 feet" execution for creating consumer demand and to achieve sales target and business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:

  • According to brand strategy set by Community Manager to prepare annual brand plan, including media, digital plan, consumer activities and trade support.
  • Work closely with trade marketing and sales team to implement promotional campaigns and events with evaluation as well as daily operational tasks relating to logistics, POSM management.
  • Smoothly interface with trade marketing and distributors in communicating a coherent brand identity in merchandizing and promotion activities.
  • Effectively work with various external suppliers and agencies for maximizing their performance for relating projects e.g. advertising, digital and PR agencies for advertising and event agencies for events and production house for premium sourcing.
  • Maintain good relationship and communicate well with brand owners.
  • Monitor and control marketing spending against budget & plan.
  • Analyses the market information through competitors’ activities, pricing, product potential, and market research etc., and device brand strategy and promotion programs in line with brand group’s direction.
  • Prepare update regularly (monthly report and campaign reviews).

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Degree holder with formal business qualifications
  • Formal marketing training desirable
  • A good understanding of Chinese consumer behaviors and experiences in China market are preferred
  • Knowledge in wines & spirits industry preferred
  • Minimum 4-5 years working experience in marketing preferably with experience in managing luxury brands and services
  • Energetic, outgoing and proactive individual with good organizational and time management skills
  • Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • High competency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Computer literate / Chinese typing
  • Enjoy working in a wine and spirit industry
