Main Responsibilities

(1) Event Management

  • Work closely with the Event Teams to ensure all events are planned & executed thoroughly according to the organizers & guests’ expectation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness & maintenance of all Event Spaces by implementing & monitoring cleaning schedules & SOPs therefore adhering to Health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure clear communication with vendors/suppliers required for the events.

(2) Sales & Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure that the financial targets are met through upselling.
  • Be flexible & assist in any F & B cost incentives to increase department's profit margin and maintain a healthy budget.
  • Communicate effectively with guest/sin a professional manner and with the team in reference to Compass/Bank policies.
  • Handle guest/organizers comments and complaints, extend recovery & write incident reports.

(3) Team Building

  • Work with Chefs Team, F & B Manager, Event Manager for any F & B suggestion, dietary requirements and other special requests from guests.
  • Ensure daily, weekly & monthly reports (Attendance, Inventory, Health & Safety etc) are completed to the standards.
  • Supervising, developing & disciplining all team members.
  • Participate in regular meetings and give suggestions and ideas.
  • Listen, give guidance and aid colleagues whenever assistance is required including some personal issues.

(4) F&B Issues

  • Ensure all food & beverage menus, food tags are printed & presented accurately.
  • The ability to ensure relevant F & B stock control in the department.
  • Have a high level of food & beverage knowledge therefore able to discuss with guests & to train colleagues.
  • Monitor the food & beverage quality & quantity in events.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a similar in the Hospitality & Fine Dining Services
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a senior position in an international hotel and or corporate hospitality environment.
  • Strong customer services, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing and people oriented, works well with management to achieve business goals.
  • Possess innovative mindset and willingness to accept change
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Commitment to the highest standard of hygiene and food safety standard
