Responsibilities:

Assist Director of Events in formulating yearly marketing plan, annual budget on revenue, operating equipment and capital expense.

Promote the function spaces in 3 Marco Polo hotels and monitor the implementation of marketing strategies with emphasis to the upper market.

Maintain strong and professional relationship with existing clients and identify new potential business opportunities.

Evaluate menu pricing and rental rates visa-à-vis the market and competition on a yearly basis and develop catering packages for approval.

Ensure smooth operations of Events Department and co-ordinations with Banquet Service, Culinary and Sales & Marketing Department.

 

Requirements:

Degree Holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines.

At least 10 years’ experience in Events Management, of which at least 6 years holding similar capacity.

Extensive exposure in Catering management including organizing functions of various kinds, scales and styles.

Solid knowledge in Opera and computer skills for generating report and analysis for the Event Department.

Strong interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills. 

Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is a must.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Catering Sales Manager
